Christopher Lehmpfuhl

Christopher Lehmpfuhl (* 1972 in Berlin ) is a German artist .

Life

Christopher Lehmpfuhl received the beginning of his artistic training from 1985–1992 in painting lessons with Wolfgang Prehm. 1992–1998 he completed his painting studies at the Berlin University of the Arts with Professor Klaus Fußmann as a master class student . In 1998 Lehmpfuhl became a member of the Association of Berlin Artists and in the following year a member of the Künstleronderbund . In 2001/2002 he taught at the drawing academy in Hanau and until 2007 took over the board work in the artist special association. In 2002 Lehmpfuhl became a member of the Neue Gruppe (Munich), and since 2003 he has been a member of the North German Realists . In 2004 he was teaching at the Vulkaneifel Academy, Steffeln. The Academy for Painting in Berlin gave him a teaching position, where Lehmpfuhl was a lecturer from 2006 to 2010 and 2014.

Lehmpfuhl has been on view in the Kornfeld Gallery since 2017 .
