Arne Rautenberg
Arne Rautenberg (born October 10, 1967 in Kiel ) is a German writer and artist .
life and work
After studying art history , modern German literature and folklore at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel , Rautenberg has lived as a freelance writer and artist in his hometown since 2000. He writes poems, essays, short stories, novels and works for various feature sections; his main literary field of activity is poetry. Poems have appeared in several individual titles as well as in numerous anthologies (Reclam's book of German poems, yearbook of poetry) and magazines (FAZ, DIE ZEIT, Akzente). In addition, many of his poems have been included in school books. Rautenberg works in the field of visual art on collages and large-scale font installations in rooms that have been shown in several exhibitions at home and abroad. From 2006 to 2020 he was a lecturer at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel . In 2017 Rautenberg was elected to the German Academy for Language and Poetry and in 2018 to the German Academy for Children's and Young People's Literature .
