The gallery grave Gleichen is a possible megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic Wartberg culture near Gleichen , a district of Gudensberg in the Schwalm-Eder district ( Hesse ).
location
The facility is located 800 m south of the Wartberg in a field. The destroyed gallery grave Züschen III was located 2.6 km east of this .
description
The system is completely in the ground and is not visible above ground. An archaeological investigation of the site has not yet taken place; the exact appearance of the plant is therefore unknown. The assumption that a gallery grave is hidden here is based on the fact that several larger stones were found here while plowing. In addition, several reading findings were made: part of a human skull , two ceramic shards, two stone axes and a bone tip. The finds originally came to the Fritzlar Regional Museum , but are now lost.
