Gamaliel Diaz
Gamaliel Diaz (born February 14, 1981 in Tacámbaro , Michoacán , Mexico Gamaliel Díaz Magaña ) is a Mexican boxer in the super feather and featherweight division .
Career
His debut fight on May 19, 1998, the left wingman lost to Luis Alberto Reyes by split point decision. On May 21, 2004 he won the WBC -FECARBOX belt against Ismael Gonzalez and defended it four times in a row.
In October 2012 he became WBC world champion when he defeated Takahiro Aō by unanimous decision. However, he lost this belt to Takashi Miura in April of the following year due to technical in round 9.
