Sulafat (also Sulaphat , from Arabic السلحفاة, DMG as-sulaḥfāh  'turtle') is the proper name of the star γ Lyrae ( Gamma Lyrae). Sulafat belongs to the spectral class B9 III and has an apparent brightness of +3.26 mag. Sulafat is also called Jugum (from Latin iugum , "yoke, collar").
