Gait pattern

A gait is the summary of the segment movements of the extremities when walking . A normal gait is characterized by harmonious and well-coordinated segment movements of the extremities. A gait disorder is called a gait disorder ; this can be psychogenic, neurological or orthopedic.

Doctors and therapists can use a gait pattern such as the inner passage to infer pathological changes in the foot , leg or spine .
