description

Arrangement of stones, schematic drawing.

The approximately west-east-oriented passage grave of the Emsland Chamber type, located in an oak forest, is relatively well preserved, but many stones are no longer in situ . The chamber measures approximately 16.3 x 2.0 meters. Only two of the former 22 bearing stones are missing, but all but three of the once 10 cap stones are missing. There are traces of the hill and stones that indicate that the complex was surrounded by an oval border.

The remains of a heavily destroyed large stone grave (Sprockhoff No. 925), which was partially excavated in the 1930s, are located about 500 meters southwest of the center of Hatten in an agricultural area.
