When passage grave on the counter Esch , also Evenkamp called, is a Neolithic passage grave with the Sprockhoff no. 973. It originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). The passage grave is a form of Neolithic megalithic systems, which consists of a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form can be found primarily in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, and occasionally in France.

The large stone grave is located northeast of the hamlet of Evenkamp, south of the B 213 ( E 233 ) and west of Löningen in the district of Cloppenburg in Lower Saxony .
description
The system is oriented northwest-southeast and consists of the remains of an oval border. Some of the border stones are in situ, the greater part is missing. The double trapezoidal chamber, which is about 15 meters long and 1.8 meters wide in the middle, is sunk into the ground and tapers to 1.4 meters at both ends. Of the former 23 bearing stones, three are missing. One of the former 10 capstones and the fragments of one or two more have been preserved. The slightly eccentric entrance on the south side has been preserved with four bearing stones, the two outer ones of which are already part of the hill border.
