In the passage grave on the Radberg (also megalithic grave named by Long) is a Neolithic passage grave with the Sprockhoff no. 873. It originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). The passage grave is a form of Neolithic megalithic systems, which consists of a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form can be found primarily in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, and occasionally in France. The large stone grave on the Radberg is located in the forest south of Rentrup, a district of Langen , on the north side of the 57 meter high Radberg in the municipality of Lengerich in the Emsland district in Lower Saxony and should not be confused with the burial mound on the Radberg in Reken- Hülsten in North Rhine-Westphalia .

description

The relatively well-preserved east-west-oriented Emsland Chamber has a length of 17.0 m and a width of 1.2 to 1.0 meters. It is located in an irregular oval around 30 meters long and 14 meters wide in the middle, of which 20 stones have been preserved. 25 of the 27 bearing stones of the chamber have been preserved, many are still in situ . The chamber had 12 or 13 cap stones. One of the remaining stones broke. The wall shows a bulge extending to the south. The access to the chamber is in the middle of the south side. Remnants of hills can be seen in the area.
