School concept

The school concept is based on a student-oriented , democratic, dynamic principle that should be filled with life. So-called SPL lessons (self-organized, practical-oriented learning) take place in the third hours. These are divided into team SPL and core subject SPL.

  • In the Team-SPL lessons, the students learn / work with up to six other students at a table and deal with different topics, such as: B. "Fit for the job". The teams each have 9 weeks to then present these topics. The teams have 4 hours every Thursday for these tasks.
  • In the core subject SPL lessons, students do their homework . Each student receives an authorization card for the learning locations, such as B. the learning islands in the school yard, the corridor, the "red corner" or the cafeteria. These lessons take place every day (except Thursday) in the 3rd period.

Furthermore, with the new grade levels, it is now possible to complete the 13th school year and thus a full Abitur.

history

On September 1, 1981, 12 classes with a total of over 500 students, 32 teachers and 9 teachers moved into the school building. The gym was inaugurated in 1982. In 2004 the buildings were completely renovated. At the end of October 2005 the secretariat, the teachers' room and the director's room were completed.
