Gao Jing ( Chinese 高 靜 ; born September 18, 1975 in Tianjin ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .
successes
Gao Jing took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney in part in the competition with the air rifle. With 394 points she reached the final in eighth place, but achieved the best result in the final with 103.2 points, so that she ultimately won the bronze medal behind Nancy Johnson and Kang Cho-hyun . Also in 2000 she was Asian champion in Pulau Langkawi . Two years later she won the world championship title in the team competition with the air rifle in Lahti . The 2002 Asian Games in Busan were also very successful for Gao: with the air rifle, she secured the individual silver medal and the team the gold medal, while in the team competition with the small-bore rifle in the prone position she took second place.
