The city of Gaoyao (高要 市) is an independent city in the Chinese province of Guangdong . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Zhaoqing . Gaoyao has an area of 2,206 km² and a population of 730,000 (2003).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the urban district is composed of a street district and sixteen large communities.
