Deqing (德庆 县, Pinyin : Déqìng xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture -level city of Zhaoqing in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong . It is located on the Sui River (绥江) in the northwest of this province.
geography
The surface of Deqing County is generally mountainous. The Sui River forms the southern border of the district. In addition, the Mawei River (马 圩 河), the Yuecheng River (悦城 河) and a few other small rivers flow through the circle and flow into the Sui River. The climate is subtropical ; the average January temperature is 13 ° C, the average July temperature around 28.5 ° C. The annual rainfall is around 1510 mm.

traffic
The most important traffic artery is the national road 321, which runs along the southern border of the district, parallel to the Sui River . Otherwise, the connection to the neighboring districts is only made via partly poor country roads. There is no rail link. The ports on the Sui River are of limited importance.
Culture
The Old Academy of Deqing (德庆 学 宫) in Deqing , as well as the Temple of the Dragon Mother in the large community of Yuecheng are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
