Garten + Landschaft is a German-language specialist magazine for landscape architecture .

The trade journal emerged in 1948 from the trade journal Die Gartenkunst , which was founded in 1890 and whose last issue appeared under this title in 1944. In this respect, Garten + Landschaft is the longest-running magazine in the field of landscape architecture. The Munich garden architect Alfred Reich was the editor until 1949 .

Garten + Landschaft reports on developments in landscape architecture and documents projects. At the same time, it wants to stimulate discussion about the future of the landscape and urban space. Interviews, essays and comments are also published. Garten + Landschaft has been published monthly by Callwey Verlag Munich since 1956 . The publisher is the German Society for Garden Art and Landscape Culture .
