description

The listed residential building is a two-story plastered building that lies along the street. This view shows five evenly lined up window axes. The windows are framed by sandstone frames. On top there is a “moderately steep”, tiled hipped roof with a “very short” roof ridge in which there is a chimney slightly off-center. The side view is biaxial.

The outbuilding, which is also listed, has a gable roof and faces the street at the gable , moved backwards from the main house.

Garden railway

On the opposite side of the street, across the Lößnitzbach , which is enclosed at this point , there is a plot of land, also known at the address An der Jägermühle 3, on which a garden railway is operated ( 51 ° 6 ′ 32.7 ″  N , 13 ° 39 ′ 38 ″  O ). The property extends from the Lößnitzbach to the tracks of the narrow-gauge Lößnitzgrundbahn (750 millimeters), so that there are occasional encounters between trains of different gauges.

After the steaming up in spring (May 1, 2013), such train encounters occur, especially on the Karl May festival days with their increased train frequency, and not only the regular trains can be seen, but also the locomotives and wagons of the traditional clothing used for the festival .

The garden railway system operated today by the Dresden Minibahnclub was started in 1988 and was used for the first time. Since then it has been continuously developed. Today it shows the two track gauges 127 millimeters (5 inches) with a track length of 450 meters and 144 millimeters (scale 1:10) with a track length of 80 meters.
