The residential / practice building Gartenstrasse 166 is in the Grenzlandstadion district of Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The building was built in 1922. It was entered under No. G 027 on June 2, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The Gartenstraße is an old connection road from Rheydt to Mönchengladbach. House No. 166 forms the left half of a semi-detached house with identically structured facades.
The two - storey semi - villa with a hipped roof was built in 1922.
The attractive house is worth preserving as a necessary counterpart to house no.164 and as a characteristic example of traditionalist construction from the 1920s.
