Gartnisch is a district of the city of Halle (Westphalia) in the district of Gütersloh , North Rhine-Westphalia . On October 1, 1956, part of the formerly independent community was incorporated into the city of Halle (Westphalia), Halle (Westphalia) district. The rest of the municipality followed on July 1, 1969. On January 1, 1973 Gartnisch was attached to the Gütersloh district as part of the city of Halle (Westphalia).
