Gasthof Hofwirt (Bad Reichenhall)
The Gasthof Hofwirt is a listed inn in Bad Reichenhall in the Berchtesgadener Land district .
The inn at Salzburger Straße 21 was first mentioned in a document in 1583. The facade of the three-storey building with Mansard - hipped roof dates back to 1827. Next to the house there is a beer garden .
The inn was closed in October 2012. The city of Bad Reichenhall, which had become the owner through an inheritance, put the property up for sale in 2013, with the condition that the historic inn should continue to be operated and that a hotel or clinic concept should be implemented for the surrounding areas. A local developer was awarded the contract.
