Gasthof Sollner Hof

location

The inn is on Herterichstraße 63/65 opposite the old Sollner church . It is part of the historic village center of Solln.

history

A farm had been located on the site of the inn for a long time. In 1571, the farm formerly located there was named in a document as a property of the Andechs monastery . The farm was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . The Sämerhof was later located there , and since the late 19th century there has been an inn. The building was almost completely destroyed in a major fire in Solln in 1892. After that, the building that exists today was erected and converted into a pure inn with guest rooms on the first floor through several modifications. A modern hotel building, the Hotel Sollner Hof, was built next to the inn in 1971 .

Building

The elongated building is in a rural style. It was almost completely rebuilt after the fire in 1892. It has a gable roof and two floors.
