The Gasthof zum Falken at Herrnstrasse 27 in Mainbernheim is a monument .

history

The inn was completed in 1819; The property, which was located on the trade route from Würzburg to Regensburg , was built from the end of the 17th century.

The dining rooms have not been redesigned since their completion, but only restored when necessary. The hall on the first floor with a gallery and a ceiling height of seven meters was renovated in 1902.

A star on the wrought-iron arm with the falcon indicates the former brewing rights of the inn. It was brewed until 1957. The hotel has been owned by the Jaeger family since 1870; the previous owner was called Düll. The house is part of the Old Town Mainbernheim ensemble .
