Gateway Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Ijebu-Ode , Ogun State , Nigeria . It has a capacity of 14,500 spectators, is currently mainly used for football matches and is the home ground of FC Ebedei and Sunshine Stars FC
The latter has been playing his home games here since November 14, 2010 and beat defending champions FC Enyimba 2-1 on the second matchday at that time. The move became necessary because the actual home ground , the Akure Township Stadium , did not meet the standards of the Nigerian Premier League .
It was renovated in the run-up to the 2009 U-17 World Cup .
