Gauss was in at the end of the road cycling season 2011 resolution cycling team in women's cycling , based in Brescia ( Italy ).
The team was led by Lacquaniti Fortunato , who took over the management of the Faren Honda team in 2012 . Probably the best-known driver of the team in 2010 was Giorgia Bronzini , who also won her first title as road world champion that year .
The name sponsor Gauss , a manufacturer of magnetic manufacturing elements , became a co-sponsor of the MCipollini Giambenini team from 2012 onwards , and the two teams were referred to as merging.
