Gavin Bocquet
Gavin Bocquet (born July 23, 1953 in London ) is a British production designer who lives in London.
Bocquet studied production design at Newcastle Polytechnic . He received his master's degree from the Royal College of Art in 1979 . He began his film career as a draftsman for The Elephant Man and The Return of the Jedi Knights . After four years he was appointed Assistant Art Director. Eventually he was promoted to Art Director and was responsible for, among others, The Realm of the Sun by Steven Spielberg and Dangerous Liaisons by Stephen Frears .
As a production designer, Bocquet was active in both film and television. For his production design for the TV series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles , he was twice for an Emmy , which he won once. Bocquet created the production design for Kafka for Steven Soderbergh . Finally, there was a renewed collaboration with George Lucas on his highly acclaimed return to film directing, the final episodes of the Star Wars project.
