The Gburek Peaks are a group of rocky elevations in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They form the western end of Sverdrupfjella . These include the Jutulrøra and Straumsvola mountains .

The mountain range was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher . It is named after Leo Gburek (1910–1941), geophysicist and participant in this research trip. The measurement and assignment was carried out by participants in the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and subsequent Norwegian expeditions.
