Gebrüder Fichtner was a "construction business with an office for architecture and construction" in Dresden-Plauen , Würzburger Str. 41, which was jointly operated by the two master builders until 1937

  • Konrad Albert Otto Fichtner (* May 17, 1870 - December 16, 1941), lived in Dresden-Plauen, Würzburger Str. 41 and
  • William Fichtner (born October 17, 1865 - † July 24, 1937) lived in Dresden-Plauen, Hohe Straße 50

was operated. After the death of William Fichtner, the office was continued by Albert Fichtner alone. Another brother was the doctor Alfred Fichtner (born January 5, 1868, † September 8, 1932).

The father of these brothers was the builder Imanuel Ferdinand Heinrich Fichtner (* July 3, 1836; † September 20, 1906), who was buried together with his sons Albert and Alfred in the Inner Plauen cemetery (Altplauen 5). William Fichtner is with his sons:

  • Kurt Fichtner (born April 22, 1895 - † September 10, 1979), architect
  • Johannes Fichtner (born November 24, 1897 - † December 4, 1930)

buried in the Outer Plauen cemetery (Bernhardstrasse 141).
