Ferdinand Hermann Viehweger (born August 14, 1846 in Grünhain , Erzgebirge , † December 4, 1922 in Dresden ) was a German architect .

From 1872 to 1873 he studied at the Dresden Art Academy with Christian Friedrich Arnold and later in Karl Weißbach's private studio . He then worked as a freelancer, from 1880 to 1906 sharing an office with William Lossow . The Lossow and Viehweger office built in Dresden a. a. from 1890 to 1892 the Viktoriahaus , 1895–1900 the garrison church St. Martin , 1897–1898 the Central Theater , from 1900 to 1902 the (later) Resurrection Church in Plauen near Dresden , 1904 the Herzfeld department store on the Altmarkt and from 1901 to 1908 the Arts and crafts school with museum . In 1904 he had the Villa Viehweger built on Mommsenstrasse 1 according to his plans, where he lived with his family.
