Gedang (unity)

Gedang was an Indonesian measure of weight.

The measure was common in the pepper trade and was valid on the Indonesian island of Ternate

• 1 Gedang = 4 pounds (Dutch) = 4¼ pounds ( Zollverein pound ) = 1976 grams
