Geir Gulliksen (born October 13, 1963 in Kongsberg , Norway ) is a Norwegian author and publisher .
Life
Gulliksen is married to the Norwegian dancer Janne-Camilla Lyster and has two children with her. He has three other children from two previous marriages.
In 1985 Gulliksen took part in the fiction study course in Bø , formerly known as the ' Telemark University of Applied Sciences '. He worked as a publishing editor at Tiden Norsk Forlag . Since 2000 he has been editor-in-chief of Forlaget Oktober . As the publisher's editor, he drew a lot of attention in the 1990s when he recruited a new generation of Norwegian writers, including Linn Ullmann , Karl Ove Knausgård , Tore Renberg , Kristine Næs and Lars Ramslie.
In 2005, Gulliksen's poem Alt dette Skal begynne en gang til ("All that begins again") from the Se på meg nå ("Look at me now") collection was voted "Best Poem " by the expert jury and the listeners of the Norwegian broadcaster NRK P2 of the year ". In 2008 Gulliksen received the Aschehoug Literature Prize from the Aschehoug Verlag of the same name .
