Geir Ove Berg (* 1947 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper , ski jumping coach and today's sports official in golf.

On March 4, 1976 Berg flew a new ski flying world record on the Heini-Klopfer ski jumping hill with 173 meters . He exceeded the record set by Heinz Wosipiwo three years earlier on the same hill by four meters. However, the record only lasted one day before the Austrian Toni Innauer exceeded it by one meter. After his playing career, he became national coach for the Norwegians. He later became Secretary General of the Norwegian Golf Federation. He represents Norway at the European Golf Association .

Berg lives in Lommedalen today .
