Gekkeikan KK ( Japanese 月桂冠 株式会社 , Gekkeikan Kabushiki kaisha , English Gekkeikan Sake Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese brewery from Kyoto that produces sake (" rice wine "). It was founded in 1637 by Jiemon Ōkura. Translated, the name means " laurel wreath ". Due to its longevity, the company is a member of the Association les Hénokiens , an organization steeped in family history .

Gekkeikan is represented in the USA by Gekkeikan Sake (USA), Inc. with a branch in Folsom (California) and controls about 25% of the American sake market there.
