Udo Gelhausen
Udo Gelhausen (born July 5, 1956 in Cochem ) is a former German shot putter .
Sporting successes
In 1982 he finished seventh at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Milan and failed in qualifying at the European Athletics Championships in Athens . In 1986 he was seventh at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid and eighth at the European Championships in Stuttgart . The following year he was seventh at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 1987 in Indianapolis and was eliminated from the preliminary round at the World Athletics Championships in Rome . In 1982 he was German champion, 1983, 1986 and 1987 German runner-up. In the hall he won the national title three times (1984, 1985, 1987) and was runner-up four times (1982, 1983, 1986, 1988).
Udo Gelhausen started for the LG Bayer Leverkusen .
