The Gellenbach is an almost ten kilometer long tributary of the Ems . As a Grenzbach it forms the almost 5 km long border between Ostbevern and Telgte .
geography
The Gellenbach rises in Ostbevern / Lehmbrock exactly where the Fleiergosse has its headwaters . However, the Gellenbach flows in exactly the opposite direction and has been the border between Brock and Vadrup since January 1, 1975, the time of the regional reform in North Rhine-Westphalia . The stream reaches the Greven area behind the Brüskenheide nature reserve . It undercuts the Dortmund-Ems Canal and runs naturally through the Bockholter Mountains . At Gimbte it flows into the Ems.
