Gemarkenberg is a district in the Romaney district of Bergisch Gladbach .
history
The name goes back to the Gemarkenberg farm , which was created here around 1830. The original cadastre shows the location of the farm with the denomination In der Gemarke , which referred to a former community forest in which the individual farms had hereditary rights of use.
