The General Povilas Plechavičius Cadet School is a general secondary school with a special focus on military and sport in Kaunas , the second largest city in Lithuania . The cadet institution is located in the Eiguliai district . After twelve classes and high school, the young get cadets , the school-leaving certificate . Some then go to the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy or Divisional General Stasys Raštikis Military School .

history

In 1994 the School of the Young Soldier ( Jaunojo kario mokykla ) was established in the Kaunas department of Viešojo saugumo tarnyba at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . On May 25, 2005 the public institution “Lūšiukai” ( VšĮ Jaunojo kario mokykla “Lūšiukai” ) was registered. This school was built by the Ministry of Interior and Kaunas Municipality . Since March 4, 2009, the school has been named after General Povilas Plechavičius (1890–1973), the head of the General Staff of Lithuania. On March 20, 2012, the non-formal education facility became the general education school.
