General of the Army Air Defense Force
The general of the army air defense troops was to 12 March 2012 in the German armed forces , the official position of the specific matters of troops training and equipment as well as further development of the army air defense troops responsible officer.
Since November 2007, the position of General of the Army Air Defense Force was associated with the position of Commander of the Training Center for the Army Air Defense Force , and from 1994 to 2007 with the position of Commander of the Army Air Defense School . With the dissolution of the military branch and the transfer of tasks to the air force, the position of the general of the army anti-aircraft troops is no longer applicable.
Corresponding positions also exist for the other branches of the army .
The generals of the military branches are always a service position that is usually held by the commander of the training facility for the respective military branch (exceptions are the general of the telecommunications force and the general of the armored forces). The rank of a general is not necessarily associated with this position; in all smaller branches of the army , the respective generals of the branches have the rank of colonel , in the case of the larger branches the rank of brigadier general . Depending on the actual rank, the address is either Mr. Colonel or Mr. General . All generals of a branch are responsible for the further development of their branch.
