Geneviève Lüscher

Geneviève Lüscher (* 1953 in Grenchen ) is a Swiss prehistorian , non-fiction author and science journalist .

Life

Lüscher studied prehistory and early history at the University of Basel . In 1979 she obtained her licentiate . In 1991, she was due to their dissertation on the subject of Unterlunkhofen and the Hallstatt grave ceramics in Switzerland doctorate .

She worked on various scientific projects, including the National Fund . She also worked on exhibitions and excavations in Switzerland. She is the author of scientific and popular science works and sole editor of an archaeological journal. In 2000 she completed the specialist press course at MAZ - The Swiss School of Journalism .

Since 2001 she has been working primarily for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and the NZZ am Sonntag as a freelance science journalist. Her specialty here is archeology . Since 2007 she has been working on the supplement “Books on Sunday” for NZZ am Sonntag .
