Gennady Dmitrievich Kondrashov
Gennadi Dmitrijewitsch Kondrashov ( Russian Геннадий Дмитриевич Кондрашов , English transcription Gennadiy Kondrashov; born December 8, 1938 in Sugres , Sverdlovsk Oblast ) is a former Russian hammer thrower who started for the Soviet Union .
At the Universiade he won silver in 1961, gold in 1963 and silver again in 1965.
In 1966 he was eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest and sixth at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 .
In 1963 and 1965 he was Soviet champion and in 1963 Japanese champion. He set his personal best of 70.52 m on July 21, 1968 in Leningrad .
