Genoveita Krasauskienė

Genoveita Krasauskienė (born February 13, 1952 in Kaukolikai , Skuodas Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician, vice minister .

Life

In 1976 she graduated from Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in English and in 2004 from Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 1990 to 2003 she was the director of the Vladas Jurgutis Middle School in Palanga . From 2004 to 2007 she worked as an advisor to the mayor. In 2007 she taught English at the VšĮ vocational school “ Kauno paslaugų verslo darbuotojų profesinio rengimo centras ”. From 2009 she taught at the Klaipėda College . From 2003 to 2007 she was a member of the Palanga City Council. Since 2013, she has been Deputy Minister for Education and Science , Deputy Minister Dainius Pavalkis in the Butkevičius cabinet .

From 1999 she was a member of the Naujoji sąjunga and then the Darbo partija .

She is married. With her husband Edmundas Krasauskas, she has children Inesa and Edvinas.
