Genric Pavliukianec

Genrik Pavliukianec (born June 17, 1976 in Vilnius district ) is a Lithuanian goalball player .

Pavliukianec has been playing goalball since 1991. In 1998 he reached third place at the Goalball World Championships in Madrid with the Lithuanian national goalball team . In 2001 he won second place and silver at the European Goalball Championships in Budapest . In the same year he was awarded the Gediminas Order (5th degree) by the Lithuanian President . In 2002 Pavliukianec reached second place with the Lithuanian national goalball team at the world championships in Rio de Janeiro and was subsequently voted the best player of the tournament. Four years later they managed to win the World Championships in Spartanburg .

2000 Pavliukianec first took part in the Paralympic Games and won a bronze medal there with his team. In 2004 in Athens , however, he could not repeat this success. It was not until 2008 in Beijing that he and his team won a medal (silver) again.

He plays in the sports club “Šaltinis” in Vilnius .
