Geoff Parsons
Geoff Parsons (actually Geoffrey Peter Parsons ; born August 14, 1964 in Margate , Kent ) is a former British high jumper .
At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he was eliminated from the qualification.
In 1986 he won bronze at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Madrid . In the summer, starting for Scotland , he won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and was ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart .
At the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 , he finished tenth, at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, 16th.
In 1990 he won bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and failed to qualify for the European Championship in Split . Another bronze medal followed at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria .
