Geoffrey Hull

Geoffrey Stephen Hull (born September 6, 1955 ) is an Australian linguist , ethnologist and historian .

Act

In the 1990s, during the Indonesian occupation , Hull supported the East Timorese government in exile by standardizing the national language Tetum . From 2001 to 2007 he was Research Director of the Instituto Nacional de Linguística East Timors .

He is currently an adjunct professor at Macquarie University in Sydney .
