Geolier (* 2000 in Naples as Emanuele Palumbo ) is an Italian rapper .

Career

Palumbo comes from the Neapolitan district of Secondigliano . He became interested in hip-hop early on and in 2018 released the first single P Secondigliano on YouTube under the pseudonym Geolier together with Nicola Siciliano . This attracted more attention online, and in the same year more songs followed, in collaboration with various representatives of the Neapolitan hip-hop scene. He himself also made guest contributions to publications by his fellow musicians, including Peppe Soks and Lele Blade . Geolier's strong connection to the Neapolitan musical tradition and his dialect is striking .

2019 geôlier has been prepared by independent label BFM Music of Luche contracted. Collaborations with Emis Killa , Rocco Hunt and Night Skinny followed, among others . In October 2019 his debut album Emanuele was finally released , which reached the top three of the Italian charts. It also contained a contribution by Guè Pequeno . After some single successes , the rapper reached the top of the single charts for the first time with Shablo and Sfera Ebbasta in June 2020 with M 'manc .
