The Geologists Cove ( English for Polish Zatoka Geologów , geologists ' bay ' ) is a bay at the southern end of the Krakow peninsula of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies in front of the front of the Penderecki Glacier between Chabrier Rock and Syrezol Rocks at the transition from Admiralty Bay to Bransfield Strait .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the geologists of the Polish Antarctic expedition, which ran from 1978 to 1979.
