Geomyza combinata is a fly from the family of opomyzidae (Opomyzidae).
features
The flies reach a body length of 3 to 3.5 millimeters. Your body is red-yellow. The scutellum is hairless, its front pair of bristles is shorter. The wings are slender and darkly tinted at the tips. Their cross veins are darkly lined, and there is also a dark border in front of the mouth of the median vein. The mesonotum has four pairs of dorsocentral bristles, one pair of which is in front of the transverse suture. The antenna bristle (Arista) is long pinnate.
Occurrence and way of life
The animals are widespread in Europe. The adults are flower visitors, the larvae develop in honey grass ( Holcus ).
