Georg Basilius Brinkmann

Georg Basilius Brinkmann (born February 2, 1662 in Willershausen , † November 17, 1735 in Ilfeld ) was a German Lutheran theologian.

Life

Brinkmann was the son of a preacher in Willershausen. He attended schools in Einbeck , Osterode am Harz and Merseburg . He completed his theology studies, which he completed as a master's degree, at the universities of Jena and Helmstedt . He became assistant pastor, in 1691 pastor in Ilfeld, where he temporarily held the position of rector at the pedagogy .
