Georg Baumhakl

Georg Baumhakl (* 1948 in Kraftsolms , Lahn-Dill-Kreis ) is a German painter .

Life

Baumhakl spent his childhood in Krofdorf-Gleiberg . He received his artistic training from 1977–1979 with the landscape and portrait painter Georg Demetriades and from 1991–2003 with the animal painter Manfred Schatz .

The focus of his work is racing painting , animal painting and landscape painting . His works are characterized by a great thematic diversity. It shows dynamic racing scenes as well as calm landscape motifs and lifelike paintings of the predominantly domestic animal world. His preferred techniques are oil, pastel, sepia and watercolor.

His studio is in Heuchelheim , district of Giessen .
