Georg Cantieny

Georg Cantieny (born February 11, 1883 in Flensburg , † July 19, 1971 ) was a German entrepreneur .

After completing his studies, Cantieny initially worked at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg and later at the Augsburg-Nuremberg machine factory (MAN). After the founding of Kohlenscheidungs-Gesellschaft mbH in 1921, a subsidiary of MAN, he was appointed to manage the company, which he held until 1952.
