Georg Christian Green
Georg Christian Green (born March 10, 1804 in Lübeck ; † August 31, 1845 there ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Green was the son of the Lübeck merchant Friedrich Johann Green and his wife Magdalena Catharina nee Richertz. He was initially active as a civil deputy in the finance department, the tax deputation, the commercial college and the fire fund. He was elected councilor in 1845 as the eldest of the Lübeck skipper drivers and died in the same year. In the Senate he continued to work in the Finance Department and Tax Deputation, but also in the Customs Deputation and in the Central Poor's Deputation.
