Georg Daubner (French. Georges Daubner, born November 19, 1865 in Berlin ; † April 5, 1926 in Strasbourg ) was a German theater and landscape painter and art teacher .

Daubner learned theatrical painting from 1882 with the stage painter Julius Lechner in the painting workshop of the State Opera Unter den Linden and stayed there for several years. By the way, he learned self-taught , the landscape painting .

Invited by his friend Georg Haecker, Daubner taught decorative painting, theater painting and also in a ladies class from 1892 to 1925 at the newly founded Municipal School of Applied Arts in Strasbourg, headed by Anton Seder . From 1908 to 1926 he headed the theater decoration workshop at the Strasbourg City Theater.

Georg Daubner also worked as a landscape painter. He took part in many German art exhibitions. His works are in the collections of the Musée d'Art Moderne et Contemporain de Strasbourg , as well as the museums in Zurich and Metz .
