Georg Gottlieb Leberecht von Hardenberg
Georg Gottlieb Leberecht von Hardenberg (born September 12, 1732 ; † January 16, 1822 in Schlöben ) was a real secret councilor and court marshal in Saxe-Gotha as well as owner of the manors Oberwiederstedt , Rabis, Schlöben and Möckern as well as a landscape committee member of the Principality of Altenburg , head stable master and top tax collector.
He came from the Wiederstedt line of the Lower Saxon noble family von Hardenberg and was a son of Anton Gottlieb Christoph von Hardenberg and Catharina Sidonie von Heynitz. Novalis is his nephew.
He died on the night of January 16-17, 1822 in Schlöben in the presence of his niece Sidonie von Dieskau and his nephew Anton von Hardenberg
